This album is one of my favourite of all times ! I was introduced Barry Adamson by a friend of mine in the mid 90s . His "Oedipous , Schmoedipous" album was realised then & I kept listening ... it was a month later that Barry bacame essential to me ... I followed him after , have always been intrigued by his cinematic mood , the sense of sheer "blackness" & his sophisticated lyrics ! It wasn't until the mid 2000's that I got this release , a stock copy from a warehouse ... I was quite shocked in the beginning at how murky , desperate & full of anxiety it sounded , it still sounds that way and even more !!! So , take a listen if you like dark , avant-gardish , soundtrack sounding albums ! Very well done Barry , thanks a million !!!
